Faculty Development Scheme (Accounting)

Young outstanding graduates who are keen to pursue an academic career, are invited to apply for appointment as Lecturers under SMU's Faculty Development Scheme. Selected candidates must be prepared to undertake a doctoral programme in Accounting in a reputable overseas university. Competitive market salaries will be paid to successful candidates.

Candidates will assist in the research and teaching programme at the School of Accountancy prior to being awarded an SMU scholarship to complete a PhD. Upon successful completion of the degree, he/she will be considered for appointment to an Assistant Professorship.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Singapore citizen or Singapore permanent resident
• Summa Cum Laude or a First Class Honours Degree in Accounting from an accredited university
• Strong GMAT score
• Below 30 years of age
• Research and teaching potential
