We welcome international graduate students to apply for our full-time programme. Applicants must show proficiency in the English language. Applicants whose medium of instruction in their undergraduate studies is not in English must sit for either TOEFL or IELTS. More information can be obtained from the TOEFL website and the IELTS website. SMU’s institution code for TOEFL is 9014.

International students must possess a valid Student’s Pass to be able to study at SMU. SMU will assist in the application of student passes for all international students coming to SMU.

Student Accommodations

Our campus is conveniently located in the city and is well served by public transport. There is a variety of accommodation available in Singapore such as student hostels and private apartments.
