Ms Tan has a Master of Business Administration from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Singapore. She is versatile and has expanded her expertise beyond accounting, having acquired skills in information technology, e-learning instructional design and risk management. Ms Tan has many years of teaching experience in undergraduate accounting programmes in the areas of controls and risk management, auditing, management science, information systems, and financial accounting. She also had extensive working experience and had worked as an auditor at the former Coopers & Lybrand, Singapore, as well as an Internal Auditor with the Housing and Development Board. She is teaching Accounting Information Systems in 2006/07 Term 1.
