A warm welcome to the first issue of SoAR, our new e-newsletter. We hope that this will be a regular meeting place for all of you, our stakeholders, to keep abreast with the latest happenings at the School of Accountancy, SMU.

With two batches of graduates out in the market (all fully employed), we are starting to soar in many directions. Join us here to learn what's happening with:

The School – no longer the newest Accountancy school in Singapore, but far from middle-aged! Growing in numbers (students and faculty) and programmes.

Our Undergraduates – as they experience the different types of exposure that defines the SMU learning environment, and reflect on the benefits they are gaining.

Our Alumni – where are they and what are they up to? And is the SMU education they received standing them in good stead?

Our Faculty – committed to excellent teaching and research that's relevant to local needs and international standards.
