Unveiling of SoA's Donors' and Graduates' Walls

On 24 March 2007, industry friends, donors and SoA alumni joined the School to mark a new milestone in the short history of the School – the unveiling of the SoA Donors' and Graduates' Walls.

Launched in 2001, SoA has grown from a small initial cohort of less than 100 students to today's 800-strong student population and an alumni base of more than 200. As the second accountancy school in Singapore, SoA considers the endorsement and support of the accounting profession, employers from financial institutions and business partners to be very important. The Donors' Wall is a testament of the support from the industry, our alumni, our faculty and staff, which the School gratefully acknowledges. The total donations to-date amount to about $3.5 million. The funds will be used mainly for various scholarships, awards and research, and also to support overseas exchange and business study trips for accountancy students.

The SoA Graduates Wall honours all the SoA graduates to-date and with each passing year, a new batch of graduates will be added to the wall. The School is grateful to our alumni who have selflessly given their time to support career seminars, admissions interviews and various other school and university activities. Their willingness and enthusiasm to serve is an inspiration to the current undergraduates.

The School looks forward to further strengthening the close bonding with our friends and alumni.
